The city should absolutely be in your bucketlist as it is full to the brim with things to see and to experience. Close to Brussels it is a fascinating truly medieval city with stately university buildings dotted throughout the centre, But… its definitely the many students that bring the city alive 24/24 and 7/7.

Your guide takes you on a breathtaking walk through the ancient heart of Leuven. He will definitely take you to the most beautiful city hall of Belgium , the largest Beguinage in Flanders, the ancient cloth hall, the baffling university library and so much more. You will also call at the tomb of Father Damien, the patron of the lepers who was recently beatified. Although we show you still much more you certainly get a sound portion of free time to experience the city yourself. Yet, do remember that paying a visit to the unique ‘Old Market’ area is like pulling up a chair at the longest bar in Europe. Its many catering establishments have always been Leuven’s meeting place par excellence, particularly in warm weather when the numerous terraces quickly fill up.

Antwerp has it all! It is not only the city of the famous painter Rubens. It is also the global capital of diamond trade and it is home to the most beautiful railway station in the world. Walking through its maze of picturesque streets you will hear the countless legends of the city and discover a wealth of breathtaking architecture.

Our guided walk through the old city starts at the impressive 13th century castle that guarded the city and its medieval river port. Antwerp has now become one of the largest harbour cities in the world. Our Lady’s Cathedral is the most impressive church in the Low Countries. It welcomes you with countless paintings by world class artists of the 17th century. The absolute masterpieces are the Rubens paintings. We will also take you to the gothic guild houses at the Market Square. Antwerp railway station is a must-see.. It is said to be the most beautiful railway station in the world. Nearby are the diamond district and the Jewish quarter. In your free time, you should try the local beer called a ’Bolleke’. For this tour you should not forget your comfortable shoes.

Ghent will pleasantly surprise you as the city combines pure medieval architecture with a youthful vibrant students’ atmosphere. In Bruges the whole city is listed as Unesco heritage. You see literally all highlights of Bruges.

We take you to Ghent. We visit Saint-Bavo’s Cathedral, home to the world-famous Mystic Lamb painting (optional) and walk along the Castle of the Counts of Flanders, the picturesque medieval harbour and many more highlights. In Bruges, after lunch you enjoy the view of the peaceful Lake of Love and the picturesque beguinage. Your guide will explain the stories and secrets behind the city’s history from the Viking period until the end of the Middle Ages. You see literally ‘all’ highlights of Bruges: the Basilica of the Holly blood of Jesus, the Belfry tower, our Lady’s Church, Saint John’s hospital etc. You even have the option to enjoy a pleasant boat trip along the narrow canals. Do not forget your comfortable shoes to brave the cobbled streets!
